Opening Remarks
It is a moment of epiphany for Aswapati. He saw her daughter and recognises in her the divine being she is and the great and mighty work she has come down to do.

Unstained heavens
Her brow, a copy of clear unstained heavens,
Was meditation’s pedestal and defence,
The very room and smile of musing Space,
Its brooding line infinity’s symbol curve.

Her vision and will seemed as the clear unstained heavens. They were as a seat of meditation, a field of musing Space, its lines were brooding symbol curves of infinity.

Seas of love
Amid her tresses’ cloudy multitude
Her long eyes shadowed as by wings of Night
Under that moon-gold forehead’s dreaming breadth
Were seas of love and thought that held the world;
Marvelling at life and earth they saw truths far.

Below her moon-gold forehead, her eyelashes were as if wings of Night overshadowed the seas of love and cosmic thought that marvelled at life and earth. They gazed into far distant truths not accessible to our narrow ignorant sight.

Golden vase
A deathless meaning filled her mortal limbs;
As in a golden vase’s poignant line
They seemed to carry the rhythmic sob of bliss
Of earth’s mute adoration towards heaven
Released in beauty’s cry of living form
Towards the perfection of eternal things.

Her limbs were as if carved for deathless deeds. They were as a golden vase that carries rhythms sobs of bliss of the earth’s adoration towards heaven. It was a cry of beauty in living form striving towards the perfection of eternal things.

The expressive deity
Transparent grown the ephemeral living dress
Bared the expressive deity to his view.

Aswapati saw behind the form the deity hidden within her heart seeking to express herself.

Cathedral cave
Escaped from surface sight and mortal sense
The seizing harmony of its shapes became
The strange significant icon of a Power
Renewing its inscrutable descent
Into a human figure of its works
That stood out in life’s bold abrupt relief
On the soil of the evolving universe,
A godhead sculptured on a wall of thought,
Mirrored in the flowing hours and dimly shrined
In Matter as in a cathedral cave.

His inner sight saw her form and figure as a harmonious shape, a symbol of the original Power (of the Divine Mother) that went into creation descend into his daughter. She stood out as a strong individual n the soil of earth. She seemed a godhead sculptured in a cathedral cave with walls of thought amidst the flow of time.

Closing Remarks
Aswapati beholds in his daughter an incarnation of the Divine Mother and the mission she is here to accomplish.

Between the age of eighteen and twenty I had attained a conscious and constant union with the divine Presence and that I had done it all alone.
